Namita Patel serves as the Fermentation Operations Manager at The Francis Crick Institute since July 2016, where responsibilities include delivering high-quality materials for research projects and supporting stakeholders throughout project lifecycles. Prior to this role, Namita worked at Cancer Research UK from October 2006 to June 2016, where positions held included Senior Scientific Officer, Scientific Officer, and Fermentation Scientist. Notable achievements include earning a promotion for assuming leadership responsibilities, providing expert guidance to external institutes, creating in-house training on specialized equipment, and enhancing service visibility through presentations and tours. Namita holds a Master of Science in Biochemical Engineering from UCL and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with Biochemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, along with various additional training and workshops in management and biotechnology.
