Laure Botella is an experienced professional in the field of laboratory research and operations, currently serving as the Containment Technical and Facilities Operations Manager at The Francis Crick Institute since December 2018, while also holding the title of Senior Laboratory Research Scientist. Prior to this role, Laure Botella worked at Weill Cornell Medicine from August 2009 to November 2018, where responsibilities included Research Associate, Biosafety Level 3 Laboratory Assistant Manager, and Post-doctoral associate. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Student position at Forschungszentrum Jülich from February 2006 to February 2009, and a role as a Student at the Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology (CNRS) from 2003 to 2005. Laure Botella holds a Master 2 degree in Microbiology and Genetics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, earned between 2000 and 2005.
