Ignacio del Valle

Principal Bioinformatician at The Francis Crick Institute

Ignacio Del Valle is a highly experienced bioinformatician with a significant background in transcriptomic analysis and regulatory mechanisms in stem cell differentiation. Currently serving as Principal Bioinformatician at The Francis Crick Institute since February 2023, Ignacio previously held roles as Research Associate at UCL and Career Development Fellow at The Francis Crick Institute. Ignacio’s research expertise spans various techniques, including scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq, and Spatial Transcriptomics, with previous experience in mouse embryonic stem cells and monoclonal antibody production. Ignacio holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and another in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, alongside a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biomedicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
