Nick Walker has a long and varied work experience. Nick began their career in 2012 as a Strategy Intern at Interbrand. In 2013, they were a Business & Growth Intern at 21212 Digital Accelerator. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern at Uber. In 2015, they were a Management Associate (Intern) at Bridgewater Associates. In 2016, they were a Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates, where they were part of a highly selective rotational management program for recent graduates. In 2017, they were a Blockchain Consultant (Partner Analyst) at Radicle (rad.report), a Cofounder and CEO at Carioca Labs, an Entrepreneur In Residence and Research Team Lead at Animal Ventures. In 2019, they were a Cofounder & CEO at The Folclore Company. In 2021, they became a Board Member at Impact Public Service Fund, a non-profit and non-partisan organization dedicated to understanding today's most pressing social and political issues and promoting viable actions for positive change.
Nick Walker has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Affairs and Entrepreneurship from Georgetown University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. Nick also completed a Study Abroad program at East China Normal University in 2014, with a focus on Intensive Chinese. Prior to that, they obtained International Baccalaureate & IGCSEs from The British School Rio de Janeiro between 2004 and 2011. In addition, they have an Advanced Open Water Diver certification from PADI, which they obtained in November 2010. In 2018, they completed the Startup School 2018 program at Y Combinator.
