Lorcán Byrne has worked as a Materials and Processes Engineer at The Exploration Company since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ENBIO Ltd, starting as a Research Engineer in January 2017 and then transitioning to the role of Senior R&D Engineer in July 2019. Their employment at ENBIO Ltd ended in January 2023.

Lorcán Byrne pursued their education at Trinity College Dublin starting in 2008 and concluding in 2016. Lorcán obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Physics during this period.
