Mark Thompson is a seasoned professional in mission engagement with extensive experience in volunteer management and disaster response. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Engagement at The Evangelical Alliance Mission since May 2021, Mark previously spent two decades at Mission to the World, holding roles such as Director of Volunteer Ministries and Global Disaster Response Ministry Director. In these capacities, Mark effectively designed and coordinated volunteer opportunities, managed budgets, and oversaw various ministry projects, ensuring comprehensive support for short-term missions and disaster responses. Mark’s background as a Country Director and Missionary highlights a strong commitment to church planting and community service. Mark holds a High School Diploma from Emmanuel Christian School.
