Tamara Coja is a highly experienced regulatory toxicologist currently serving as the Chair of the EFSA PPR Panel at the European Food Safety Authority since July 2018. In addition to this role, Tamara Coja is actively involved in several working groups, including the EFSA WG Read-across and the EFSA WG Cumulative Risk Assessment of pesticides. Tamara Coja has also held a senior expert position at the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety since September 2007, focusing on risk assessment related to pesticides, consumer safety, and toxicology. Tamara Coja's expertise extends to previous roles, including Invited Expert for the World Health Organization and Senior Research Scientist at Universität für Bodenkultur Wien. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Toxicology from the Medical University of Vienna and a PhD in Biology from the University of Vienna.
