Annette Toft serves as Director at the Danish Agriculture and Food Council in Brussels, where responsibilities include overseeing the Food, Veterinary, Research, and Organic Farming Policy division. Since 1994, Annette has held various roles within the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, including Deputy Director and Head of the Department of Food and Research Policy. Additionally, Annette is a Board Member of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and participates as a member within the EU Commission Directorate General for Health and Food Safety. Annette also represents COPA-COGECA in the European Commission and holds board positions with the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences and Innovation Fund Denmark. Previous leadership roles include Vice Chairman of the Danish Council for Technology and Innovation and Chairman of various advisory boards and foundations. Annette's educational background includes an MBA from Henley Business School and a Cand.Scient.Pol. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
