Meghan Kappus-Balson has a diverse work experience history. Meghan currently works at The END Fund, where they hold the position of Interim Vice President since November 2022. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director and Director of Investor Relations at the same organization from March 2020 to November 2022 and from February 2019 to February 2020, respectively.
Before joining The END Fund, Meghan worked at Global Health Corps as the Director of Strategic Partnerships from July 2017 to November 2018. Meghan also has experience in the academic sector, having pursued a Master's degree in International Development and Management from Lund University from August 2010 to June 2012. During this time, they conducted fieldwork in Kigali, Rwanda, focusing on the impact of handicraft cooperative participation on women's livelihood strategies.
In addition, they worked as a Rwanda Program Intern at Indego Africa from August 2011 to December 2011, where they conducted an organizational capacity assessment, facilitated eyeglasses distribution to cooperative members, and restructured training programs.
Meghan's early professional experience includes working as a Marketing Coordinator at Huthwaite, Inc from October 2006 to March 2007.
Meghan Kappus-Balson pursued their undergraduate studies from 2002 to 2006 at Cornell University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Economics and Management. After a brief break, they resumed their education in 2010 at Lund University, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in International Development and Management in 2012.
