Rachel Roberts is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and educational training. Currently serving as the Interim Associate Director of Standards & CPD at the Education and Training Foundation since October 2024, Rachel previously held various leadership roles at City & Guilds from January 2011 to October 2024, culminating in the position of Head of Quality Assurance & Delivery. In this capacity, Rachel managed a £5 million expenditure budget, ensuring compliance and delivery of key assessments. Other notable roles at City & Guilds include designing transformation programs, serving as a senior quality manager, and leading assessment strategies. Rachel's earlier experience includes managing language training at Link International and obtaining an MA in TESOL from Sheffield Hallam University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Marketing from Aberystwyth University.
