Jon Graham

Jon Graham graduated in 1988 with a BA(Hons) in Accounting and Economics and then joined BDO (Stoy Hayward) as a trainee chartered accountant in their London office.

On qualification, Jon joined the Accountancy Tuition Centre (ATC Ltd), a specialist professional education business.

He became the Managing Director of one of their divisions in 1993 and with other directors and private equity, bought and three years later sold the business to Kaplan (a competitor organisation).

He remained with Kaplan for a number of years as a UK main board director, with responsibility for their professional development businesses and corporate acquisitions.

In 2010, he joined CIPFA (an accountancy institute specialising in the public sector) as their Managing Director.

In the same year, Jon was appointed to the Advisory Board and the Audit and Risk Committee of the Skills Funding Advisory. He held this role for 6 years.

Jon became the Chief Executive of JTL in March 2015, an educational charity that focuses on delivering apprenticeships in the Building Services Engineering Sector. He held this position until June 2022 when he joined Lifetime Training as the Chief Executive Officer. Lifetime is the UK’s largest apprenticeship provider and works to deliver apprenticeship training solutions that unlock bright futures for people and businesses in a number of sectors, including Retail, Care, Hospitality and Management.

Jon is passionate about the opportunities that apprenticeships provide for people in all stages of their career and is committed to supporting the UK future-proof skills training for both individuals and businesses.
