Amiya Kumar is a Teaching Assistant at Ashoka University, providing support for courses on post-conflict societies and the intersections of economy, politics, and society since January 2023. In the summer of 2023, Amiya interned at the Ministry of External Affairs, India, focusing on disarmament and international security affairs. Previous experience includes roles as a Millennium Fellow at United Nations Academic Impact, a Delegate for the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, and an intern with CRY - Child Rights and You and NDTV. Education encompasses a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Ashoka University, a Master's in International Affairs from Columbia SIPA, and a summer program at Princeton University.
