Taraji Ellington is an Environmental Science and Political Science student at American University, expected to graduate in 2025. Currently serving as a Student Trainee in Biology at the US Environmental Protection Agency, Taraji integrates environmental justice into climate modeling and pollution regulations. Previous roles include being a Genetics/Biology Research Assistant, Sustainability Intern managing a large student team, and multiple Research Assistant positions in Environmental Science Labs. Taraji has also held internship roles in social media management at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia and litigation support at the Katiba Institute, focusing on social justice and constitutional issues in Kenya. Additional experience includes an Environmental Justice Internship at the University of Maryland and administrative support for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
