Alison Sobczyk is an experienced education and mental health professional currently serving as the Education Programs Manager at The Durham Museum since May 2023. Prior roles include Local Coordinator at Au Pair 4 Me from August 2019 to July 2023 and various positions at Little Green Tree House, including Director, Assistant Director, and Lead Pre-K Teacher, from February 2014 to August 2019. Alison's background also features mental health counseling at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital and psychotherapy internship at The Schools Group, utilizing client-centered therapy and play therapy tools. Early experience includes work as a Residential Counselor at Wediko Children's Services and a Fundraising Intern at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Alison holds a Master's in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Knox College.
