Liz Day BSc(Hons) possesses extensive experience in neonatal nursing, currently serving as a Neonatal Research Nurse at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust since March 2012. Past roles include positions as a Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse and Junior Neonatal Ward Manager, contributing to a robust background in neonatal care. Liz has been involved in Scouting since 1999, holding various leadership positions, including District Training Advisor and Assistant Explorer Leader, as well as serving as an Expedition Assessor for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award since November 2022. Additional experiences include volunteering as a Hostel Manager with YHA (England & Wales) since July 2009 and acting as an International Host Parent. Liz's educational background includes a BSc(Hons) in Sociology from The Open University and a Diploma in Children's Nursing from the University of Brighton.
