Isabel Lewin-Knauer currently serves as an Immigration Paralegal at The Door - A Center of Alternatives since August 2023. Prior to this role, Isabel held various positions, including Education Initiatives Intern at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University and Research Assistant at Duke University, showcasing a strong background in research and education. Isabel's experience also includes an impactful internship as an Undergraduate Legal Intern at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), and participation in undergraduate research projects at Duke University and the University of Maryland. Notably, Isabel co-curated the Latinx History at Duke exhibition and interned at Identity, Inc. Isabel Lewin-Knauer received a Bachelor of Arts in History and Spanish from Duke University, graduating in May 2023.
