Dave Long currently serves as the Executive Director of The Liberty Fund, where responsibilities include transforming the organization into an enhanced case management program for individuals released on their own recognizance in New York City. In addition to this role, Dave Long is the Vice President of Criminal and Social Justice Initiatives at The Doe Fund, focusing on developing partnerships and agreements within key criminal and social justice entities. Previous experience includes serving as Program Director for the School of Criminal Justice at Monroe College, Senior Director of Programs at The Fortune Society, and Project Director for juvenile justice programs at the Center for Justice Innovation. Early career roles involved serving as a Staff Attorney and Probation Officer with the New York City Department of Probation and working as a Police Officer with the New York City Police Department. Dave Long holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY).
