Kelvin Nicks possesses a diverse background in education, athletics, and transportation. Currently serving as a School Bus Driver and Day Porter for Lamar County School District since November 2018, Kelvin has extensive experience in team management as the Founder and Head Basketball Coach of Hub City Ballers Association since March 2007. Previous roles include serving as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Southeastern Baptist College and as both an ISS Teacher and Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Forrest County School District. Earlier positions included bus driving at Lamar County Schools and a security role at Guardsmark. Kelvin Nicks holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Youth Ministry from Grace Christian University, a Bachelor of Business Administration from Liberty University, and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn Foster College.
