Corinne Gibble, PhD, MS, is an accomplished environmental scientist with extensive expertise in marine ornithology and wildlife health. Since July 2016, Corinne has been leading the CDFW-OSPR Seabird Health Program at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, where research focuses on the health and pathology of marine birds. Concurrently, since November 2021, Corinne has served as an advisor for the Marine Birds Strategy at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. Previous experience includes coordinating the Seabird Health Program at the Marine Wildlife Veterinary Care and Research Center and UC Davis Wildlife Health Center, conducting research as a graduate research and teaching assistant at UC Santa Cruz, and various roles in seabird health research and marine mammal stranding response. Corinne holds a PhD in Ocean Science from UC Santa Cruz, a Master of Science in Marine Science from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from the University of Vermont.
