Reece Coren is a journalism student at Penn State University, expected to graduate in May 2024. Current roles include Freelance Reporter at Substack, focusing on Palestinian student experiences post-October 7, and Culture, Identity and International Impacts Reporter at The Daily Collegian, addressing various community issues including academic stress, LGBTQ+ matters, and the effects of national policies on local organizations. Additional experience encompasses a News Intern position at Centre Daily Times, where community events were highlighted, and a Radio News Reporter role at WPSU, documenting local elections. Previous work includes opinion writing at The Vermont Cynic, public relations at Council Rock High School North, and various customer service roles.
