Oriana Fuentes is an accomplished executive with a diverse background in healthcare technology and finance. As the CEO of Mika Health since September 2022, Oriana focuses on redefining the healthcare supply chain to reduce care costs and is also the founder of womeninhealthtech.com. Oriana co-founded Emptor in June 2016, a machine learning and natural language processing-powered B2B SaaS company operating in ten countries, and currently serves as a Board Member. In September 2023, Oriana became an Angel Investor with a specific interest in healthtech, infrastructure, legaltech, and deathtech startups. As a founding member of Chief since May 2019, Oriana actively participates in women’s leadership initiatives. Prior experiences include positions in investment banking and trading at J.P. Morgan, as well as serving as a Senior Analyst at the Orange Value Fund. Oriana holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Syracuse University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from Hiram Bingham - British International School and ongoing education through Latitud's Fellowship program.
