Tracey VanSteenhouse is a legal professional with extensive experience in claims management and litigation. Since May 2014, Tracey has served as Vice President of Claims for the Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc., overseeing operations in Orange County and San Diego, after progressing from Assistant Vice President and Claims Specialist. Prior to this role, Tracey worked at Morris Polich & Purdy as a Senior Associate Attorney, focusing on multi-district litigation for medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Experience also includes positions as an Associate Attorney at Wilson Elser, Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck, and Neil, Dymott, Frank, McCabe & Hudson APLC, specializing in various forms of malpractice and tort litigation. Tracey began legal career as Contract Counsel at the San Diego Department of Child Support Services. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
