Sheila Marie Fleming is an experienced art instructor and visitor engagement specialist with a diverse professional background. Currently, Sheila holds positions at Umlauf Sculpture Garden and The Contemporary Austin, where responsibilities include guiding tours and enhancing visitor experiences. As an artist, Sheila creates paintings, pastels, watercolors, and sculpture. Previous roles include writing and photography for the West Austin Newspaper, teaching various adult education classes at the University of Texas, and serving as a chef for Governor Ann Richards. Sheila's early career involved teaching art to children at Dougherty Arts. Sheila earned a BA in English, Art, and Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
