Kenia Wiedemann is a postdoctoral researcher working on designing technological solutions to integrate computational thinking into high school math classrooms using R. She completed her doctoral training in experimental nuclear physics at the Institute of Physics of the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil. She has conducted research in atmospheric physics and chemistry. Kenia has nine years of experience researching the interaction between the atmosphere and biosphere in the Amazon rainforest, and the implications and feedback between these and climate change. She was part of the environmental scientistsā€™ teams from the University of Sao Paulo, the University of Arizona, and Harvard University. She has always been passionate about applying multidisciplinary approaches in helping students to explore and combine different concepts in science.
