Ashley DeWalt is an accomplished entrepreneur and venture capital expert, currently serving as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of The Collectiv, a community-powered VC fund investing in sportstech startups. DeWalt acts as a Venture Advisor for Mercury and South Loop Ventures, focusing on early-stage investments and supporting founders of color. As the Managing Director of DivInc, a nonprofit aimed at aiding underrepresented entrepreneurs, DeWalt fosters high-growth startups. Additionally, DeWalt holds positions as an Angel Investor, Strategic Advisor, and Founder of Leverage Sports, a consultancy for global sports and entertainment management. With prior experience as a lecturer on brand marketing and strategy at the University of Houston, DeWalt holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Houston-Downtown.
