Luiz Resende is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience at The Coca-Cola Company, currently serving as V.P. Finance and Administration for the Mexico Business Unit since April 2014, where responsibilities include franchise management and key strategic negotiations with Mexican bottlers. Prior to this role, Luiz held the position of CFO for the Iberian Business Unit, overseeing finance, mergers and acquisitions, and procurement for Spain and Portugal. Luiz has also successfully led finance for the Central and Southern European Business Unit, managing operations across 22 countries. Luiz's earlier roles include financial management positions in Latin America and the Mediterranean Division, complemented by strategic training from Wharton Executive Education. Luiz holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
