Laura Detert AICP is a Senior Analyst at The Cloudburst Group, specializing in Housing and Community Development since May 2019. Previously, Laura served as the Manager of Housing and Community Development and Community Development Compliance Specialist for the City of Racine, focusing on HUD grant administration and Fair Housing from December 2014 to June 2018. Prior experience includes a role as Grants Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Administration, working on the HOME rental housing development program from June 2013 to November 2014. Additional experience encompasses a position as Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Bio/Zoology and roles in invasive species management and human resources coordination. Laura holds a Master of Science in Urban Planning, a Bachelor of Science in Forestry, and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies, all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with initial studies at the University of Minnesota.
