Wade Litchfield serves as the Mission President for the Côte d’Ivoire Abidjan West Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since July 2022, overseeing approximately 150 missionaries in Senegal, The Gambia, and western Côte d’Ivoire. Prior to this role, Wade Litchfield had an extensive legal career, most notably as Vice President and General Counsel at Florida Power & Light Company from 2008 until retirement in July 2022, where responsibilities included managing all legal matters with a focus on economic regulation and regulatory strategy for mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Wade Litchfield served as Senior Counsel at Entergy from 1991 to 1998, contributing to the litigation of electric and gas rate cases. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from McGill University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Brigham Young University.
