Christopher Steinmetz Roome currently serves as the Applicant Tracking System Administrator and previously held the role of People Systems Support Analyst - Data Services at The Church of England since October 2023. Prior experience includes positions as a Legal Support Officer at Somerset Council and Sedgemoor District Council, where responsibilities involved data collection and compliance oversight for elected Councillors. From August 2016 to April 2022, Christopher worked as a PA to The Assistant Diocesan Secretary at the Diocese of Bath and Wells, managing events and administrative support within the central services department. Earlier roles included a Screening Officer at the National Security Screening Agency and a General Services Officer at 1-1 Recruitment. Christopher holds a BA (Hons) in History with Politics and Global Studies from the University of Winchester.
