Becci Thompson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in safeguarding, music education, and administration. Currently serving as a Projects Officer for the National Safeguarding Team at The Church of England since November 2019, Becci focuses on survivor-centered initiatives related to church-related abuse, overseeing project coordination and governance. Prior roles include Safeguarding Administrative Assistant, DBS Administrator at the Office of the Archbishop of York, and music teacher. Becci's educational qualifications include a BMus (Hons) from The University of Edinburgh, a PGCE in Secondary Music Education, and a diploma in Aromatherapy.
