Megan Zahneis is a Senior Reporter at The Chronicle of Higher Education, where coverage focuses on faculty and the academic workplace since August 2019. Prior to this role, Megan served as Managing Editor at The Miami Student, overseeing 100 student editors and directing the weekly newspaper's operations from September 2015 to May 2019. Additionally, Megan led The Miami Student Magazine to win Best Student Magazine in the Society of Professional Journalistsā€™ regional Mark of Excellence awards. Earlier experience includes a Reporting Intern position at The Chronicle of Higher Education in 2018, and a Correspondent role with Major League Baseball Advanced Media, covering significant events while still in high school. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Miami University, earned in 2019.
