Chris Oaks is an experienced librarian currently serving as the Manager of the James N. Gamble Library at The Christ Hospital Health Network since June 2024. Previously, Chris held the position of Branch Manager at the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library from July 2016 to May 2024, where responsibilities included staff management, providing research and technology services, and acting as a liaison with community organizations. Chris has also worked as an Adult Programming Librarian and Library Associate at the Kenton County Public Library, focusing on event planning and technology instruction. Earlier experience includes a marketing and communications internship with Downtown Cincinnati Inc. and a volunteer archivist role at the Lexington History Museum. Chris holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.
