Shams M. is a dedicated Patient Relations Specialist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since August 2022, where a significant role involves serving as a multicultural Patient Navigator within a care coordination team. Previous experience includes providing administrative support and exceptional patient care as a Patient Service Representative at CHOP, and a Full Spectrum Doula and Childcare Provider since May 2017, offering childcare services and support for families. Shams M. has also worked in various capacities such as a Bilingual Patient Service Representative at Pathfinders, a Bilingual Hotline Paralegal at Tenant Union Representative Network, a Montessori Assistant Guide at Our House Montessori, a BIPoC Peer Support Fellow at Trans Lifeline, and an Arabic Medical Interpreter during a COVID-19 vaccination initiative.
