Michelle Barron, MSHQS, CPHQ, has extensive experience in quality management and patient safety, currently serving as the Manager of Quality and Patient Safety at Children's of Alabama since October 2014. In this role, Michelle has fulfilled various responsibilities including Patient Safety Coordinator, Performance Improvement Coordinator, and Clinical Data Analyst, providing critical support in database development, data analysis, and quality reporting for medical staff and administration. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Claims/Billing Specialist at Brookwood Dermatology from August 2006 to September 2014, where responsibilities included ensuring accurate medical billing and assisting in practice management. Michelle holds both a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration/Management and a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
