Dr. Barbara Deli grew up in Pittsburgh and moved to NYC after medical school. In medical school, she was involved in health outreach in the struggling neighborhoods of West Philadelphia and then did her residency in New York at Beth Israel. Now Barbara works at Mount Sinai St Luke’s and West Hospitals, mainly with the under-served, Medicaid (and uninsured) population that visits the hospital and its clinics. In the clinics, she works most closely with high-risk obstetrics patients and patients desiring contraception. She has two young children with her husband.
