Steve Ragland is the current Vice President of Special Projects at The Charles Lea Center. Steve has been with the organization for over 20 years, and in their current role, they oversee a variety of special projects. Prior to their current role, Steve served as the Project Manager for Administration/Convention Services Manager at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center from January 1989 to December 1998. In this role, they were responsible for managing the administration and convention services for the resort.
Steve Ragland has a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations Journalism from West Virginia University. Steve also has a Certificate in Franchise Management from Georgetown University. Additionally, they have done Graduate Studies in Tourism and Travel Services Management from University of Hawaii at Manoa and in Public Administration from Tennessee State University. Lastly, they did a Congressional Tourism Caucus Internship from The George Washington University.
