Jose E. De Jesus is an experienced professional with a strong background in education and driver safety programs. As the Owner of DSI and Trained IDP Facilitator at The Change Companies since October 2017, Jose oversees the NYS DMV Impaired Driver Program. Additionally, as the Independent Business Owner and Director of the Driver Safety Institute since July 2007, Jose sponsors the NYS Impaired Driver Program and a 6-hour Point/Insurance Reduction class. Jose has served as a Point & Insurance Reduction Certified Instructor at the National Traffic Safety Institute Inc. since 2013 and as a Prime for Life Certified Instructor at Prime for Life Research Institute since 2011. Previous roles include Coordinator for the Putnam County Office for People with Disabilities from May 2019 to December 2022 and various instructional positions at Mount Saint Mary College, Mercy College, and Elizabeth Seton College, teaching courses in Social Sciences, History, and Psychology. Jose holds a Master of Public Administration from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University.
