Abdelrahman Ayyash currently serves as the Senior Policy Manager for the Democracy Matters Initiative at the Middle East Democracy Center, focusing on strategic planning and program execution to advance democracy and human rights in the MENA region. Ayyash's extensive background includes roles as a Research Fellow at The Century Foundation, a Case Manager at The Freedom Initiative, and an Assistant Researcher at Human Rights Watch, among others. Ayyash's experience also encompasses editorial positions, such as Assignment Editor for HuffPost Arabi and Editor in Chief for NoonPost. Ayyash holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Yale University and a Master's Degree in Global Affairs from Bahcesehir University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Misr Institute for Engineering and Technology.
