Kadra Abdi, MPP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy, community development, and advocacy. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Center for Victims of Torture and Director of Local Policy and Field Building at the Metropolitan Consortium of Community Developers, Kadra has a proven track record in non-profit leadership and consulting. As the Founder of Synergy Consulting, Kadra provides strategic direction for small businesses and organizations. Co-founding Ubuntu: the Collective showcases a commitment to addressing issues facing the global black diaspora through conversation and information dissemination. Prior roles include program coordination and research positions focused on restorative justice, community engagement, and diaspora relations, demonstrating a deep dedication to human rights and social justice. Kadra holds a Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a BA in Anthropology and Women and Gender Studies from Luther College.
