Christina Roma Leffmann

Acquired Disability Peer Support Group Leader at Center for Independent Living, Inc.

Christina Roma Leffmann is a dedicated crisis counselor and volunteer with extensive experience supporting vulnerable populations. Currently volunteering as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County and as a Friendship warmline volunteer at the Institute on Aging, Christina provides emotional support and intervention to isolated older adults and individuals living with disabilities. As a Peer Support Group Leader at TheCIL - Center for Independent Living, Christina established a support group for individuals with newly acquired disabilities, and also serves as a Transitions Specialist, advocating for consumer rights and facilitating smooth transitions for individuals in care facilities. Previous roles include volunteer instructor coordinator at Dance for All Bodies, relief counselor at Youth Homes, and multiple positions at UC Santa Cruz related to education and research. Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Intensive Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has pursued further education in computer technologies and administrative training.
