Valerie Estrada is an experienced registered nurse with a robust background in various healthcare settings. Currently, Valerie serves as a Registered Nurse at The Center for Health Care Services since October 2020. Prior experience includes roles as RN Case Manager at Heart to Heart Hospice from June 2018 to October 2020 and as Staff Registered Nurse at Select Medical from September 2014 to June 2018, where responsibilities included admissions, discharges, nursing care, medication administration, and wound care. Valerie began a career in healthcare as a Medical Transcriptionist at San Antonio State Hospital from June 2007 to May 2012 and previously worked as a Medical Assistant/Back Office Clerk at Alamo Plastic Surgery from May 2005 to June 2007, performing wound care tasks, handling medical records, and coordinating outpatient surgeries. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from Galen College of Nursing-San Antonio and an ADN in Registered Nursing from Galen College of Nursing, along with a high school diploma from Brackenridge High School.
