Steve Hatfield is a seasoned professional in sustainability and ESG practices with extensive experience in the finance sector. Currently serving as Co-Head of Sustainability at The Carlyle Group since November 2020, Steve oversees ESG integration across the investment lifecycle and collaborates with deal and management teams to enhance business value through targeted initiatives. Prior to this role, Steve was Head of Sustainability at Cerberus Capital Management from May 2017 to November 2020, and held various positions at PwC from September 2006 to May 2017, focusing on sustainable business solutions and corporate tax compliance. Steve holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University and a Master of Business Administration in Sustainability from Marylhurst University.
