Bin Han has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Analyst Pension Consulting at Morneau Sobeco for a few months. In 2009, they became an Actuarial Analyst at Aviva plc before transitioning to Manulife Financial later that year. In 2010, Bin worked as a Summer Analyst in Credit Derivatives at West Face Capital Inc. Bin then joined HSBC in 2012 as an Associate in Interest Rates Derivatives & Credit Derivatives Trading, where they stayed until 2017. Since May 2017, Bin has been working at The Caravel Group Limited as a Senior Vice President in Commodity Derivatives Trading.

Bin Han obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Actuarial Science with a Finance Option from the University of Waterloo in the years 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia University, during the period of 2011 to 2012.
