Matt Kandath is an experienced professional with a background in mentoring, partnerships, and business development. Currently serving as a Mentor at the Cannon Project since October 2019, Matt focuses on promoting diversity and gender parity in tech by connecting athletic and entrepreneurial talent to early-stage, high-growth VC-backed companies. Previously, Matt held positions in fintech partnerships at Array and at Affirm, Inc., where responsibilities included partnerships in new markets and business development for enterprise clients. Matt also has a significant sports background as a former professional tennis player for the ATP Tour from 2007 to 2019 and contributed as an Assistant Coach for the Men's Tennis team at Skidmore College from 2016 to 2018. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford University.
