Janine is an advocate for social justice and the rights of underserved communities in the Philippines. As an alumna of the College of Political Science and Public Administration at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, she used her voice and social media platforms to educate marginalized communities about the importance of their votes in shaping policies, projects, and their overall circumstances when choosing leaders or representatives.

During her third year of undergraduate studies, Janine began her career as a Customer Service Representative, which opened doors to operational roles in companies that share her values. Her career path led her to work with a consulting firm focused on helping companies manage cultural changes for better work environments. Additionally, she served as an Administrative Assistant in a Construction Firm committed to recycling materials. Janine also contributed her expertise to a health service NGO in Atlanta, writing grants and handling business correspondence.

Now at Build Up, Janine is excited to bring her vast experience and passion for service to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Janine’s interests include surfing, despite living six hours from her favorite beach. She also enjoys learning new things that her friends and family love and doing it with them.
