Mae Louise (Malou) Flato, LMSW, currently serves as a Civil Action Practice Social Worker at The Bronx Defenders since September 2024. Flato's recent experience includes a Graduate Social Work Internship at Safe Passage Project, where support was provided to unaccompanied immigrant youth and families navigating immigration and family court. Additionally, Flato interned at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation, delivering trauma-informed counseling and advocacy for survivors of intimate partner violence.
