Zia Yusuf is the Cofounder and CEO of Velocity Black, a position held since 2014. In addition to this role, Zia serves as an Expert Mentor at The British Library, collaborating with Expert Impact to facilitate The Human Lending Library mentoring programme, which connects emerging social entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders. Previously, Zia held significant positions at Goldman Sachs as Executive Director specializing in Industrials, Autos, Aerospace & Defence, and at Merrill Lynch as Specialist Equity Sales in the same sectors. Zia holds a BSc in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science and was recognized as a Hammond Scholar at Hampton School.
