Steven Fuchs has been a consultant for the past ten years to small nonprofit organizations. Before consulting in the nonprofit world, he was Managing Member of Sundance Realty LLC, a Real Estate acquisition and development firm and, before that, President of Hampton Industries, a publicly traded Men's and Boy's Apparel Company. After transitioning out of his for-profit career, Steven focused his efforts on bringing management, strategic planning, and fundraising support to organizations that serve structurally disenfranchised communities.
His work with nonprofits has been diverse, and he has held a variety of roles as a board member at several nonprofit organizations, including a three year chair of the Development Committee at GLSEN. He has undertaken many initiatives, among them creating a board development plan for Banana Kelly, completing an office assessment and reorganization plan for Facing History and Ourselves, creating and conducting a community survey to assess library opportunities at The Gunn Memorial Library and Museum in Washington, CT., where he is a Trustee and being involved with the Fresh Air Fund, both hosting fundraisers and hosting children for summer weeks at his family's home in CT. Steven is a graduate of Lehigh University where he received a BS in Finance. He received a Masters Degree from NYU in Real Estate Finance and Development.
