Rahul Mangharam is a distinguished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in electrical and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Stephen J. Angello Chair and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania since 2008, Rahul has also held roles such as Associate and Assistant Professor. In addition to academic responsibilities, Rahul is a member of the Board of Directors and Director of the Autoware Center of Excellence at the Autoware Foundation, focusing on advanced autonomous driving technology. As a Fellow at TIER IV and Principal at Jugaad Lab, Rahul specializes in designing and deploying logistics systems. Previous roles include research positions at Carnegie Mellon University and IMEC, as well as engineering roles at Intel, Apple Inc., FORE Systems, and National Instruments. Rahul holds a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University and has received education from KU Leuven and Mallya Aditi International School.
