Blossom Makhubalo is an experienced professional in the field of social work and community engagement, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at The Aurum Institute since September 2017. Blossom has a comprehensive background, having previously worked as a Senior Medical Social Worker at Klerksdorp/Tshepong Hospital Complex from 2011 to 2017 and as a Senior Social Worker in the South African Police Service from 2005 to 2011. Earlier roles include providing social services at the South African Federation for Mental Health and the East London Child and Family Welfare Society, as well as serving as a Social Worker with Afrikaanse Christelike Vroue Vereeniging. Blossom holds a Master of Arts in Social Work with a focus on Community Development from the University of Johannesburg and a BA in Social Work from Nelson Mandela University.
